My introduction to Dr Ambedkar

Today I read a beautiful writing by Dr Ambedkar and in a way really got a glimpse of the times and tribulations of the days in which he lived.

Fired by a DNA article, which did a good service by publishing an excerpt from a seminal work on the subject by Dr Ambedkar on his birthday, I landed in the site which hosted the (very well annotated) full article.

(I found no link from any Indian university which hosted it. Surprise! )

I could see at once the points which were clearly stated by the Dr. and also could sense the tough struggle he would have to wage to just make people see it.

This is a must read for anybody living in India to understand our legacy and to a large extent our contemporary living too.

My respects to Baba saheb increased 1000 fold, and as and when I hang pictures of the personalities that mattered to this land someday in my dwelling, his will be in the first lot ..
